I have two Yahoo! fantasy baseball teams this year. Both chosen randomly by the server and both place in league via the same process.

Team 1 is the Choppers.
Position Players
Catcher: Mike Piazza
1st Base: Richie Sexon
2nd Base: Tony Womack
SS: Michael Young
3rd Base: A Rod
OF: Miguel Cabrera, Hideki Matsui, and Carlos Lee
Util: Mike Sweeney
Bench Austin Kearns, Mark Teixeira, Milton Bradley

Excellent power. Good batting average. Good team speed. Look for Austin Kearns to be in the starting line-up by opening day. Dude can play.

Pitching Staff
Starters: Roger Clemens, Brad Radke, Jeff Weaver, Mike Hampton, Kenny Rogers, John Lackey
Relievers: Francisco Cordero, Armando Benetiz, Greg Aquino.

Not bad, right. Plenty of starting firepower. Closers may be in question. Who knows about Benetiz? Aquino did well last year. Cordero? Will Texas be as good as last year?

Picked up Hampton as a free agent. Dropped some kind named Ayala who plays for Washington. Don't know much about him. Even if he's decent, it's tough to put up numbers for the Expos/Nats.

The Diamondhacks
Postion Players
Catcher: Javy Lopex
1st Base: Albert Pujols
2nd Base: Tony Womack
SS: Orlando Cabrera
3rd Base: Chipper Jones
Outfield: Miguel Cabrera, Juan Pierre, Magio Ordonez
Utility: Lew Ford
Bench: Austin Kearns, Mike Sweeney, Derek Lee

I am not worried here. Should have plenty of power and speed. Picked up Austin Kearns on waivers.

Pitchers
Starters: Mark Mulder, Chris Carpenter, C.C. Sabbathia, Jeff Weaver, Shawn Estes, Adam Eaton, Tim Wakefield
Relievers: Takatsu, Rincon.

I have a waiver request to pick up Uggie Urbina. I am very concerned about my relievers. I had a fellow leaguer reject a trade offer of Tim Wakefield for Greg Aquino. Another guy wanted to trade me Chipper Jones for Jeff Bagwell. I don't need another 1B; I gave him a counter offer of Chipper Jones for Troy Glaus. Have not heard from the dude.

Let's play ball!
